Multi-faceted, 42 year young single mom who never thought she'd be in this position again. Surprise, surprise!! My two kids are the lights of my life and I enjoy almost every minute that I spend with them. However, there is room in my life for a special someone. Could it be you? I have many interests such as theatre, reading, the beach, travel, motorcycles, dancing, movies, dining out, horseback riding, Atlantic City and sports.

I'm looking for someone who has the same values as I do. Someone who cherishes his family and enjoys spending time with them. Someone who has many friends because he is a good friend. Someone with a sense of humor, sense of style, and a strong sense of self. Someone who can hold up his end of the conversation, and who isn't too macho to hold a child's hand. Someone who can dress up or dress down, as the occasion warrants, and is comfortable in either setting. Someone who is willing to try new things, but who is also comforted by the familiar. Someone who would catch a "chick flick" and not make fun of me for crying. (I'd be willing to catch the action/sports/mindless comedy genre in return.) Someone who takes care of himself, body and soul. Am I asking for too much? *Extra points to anyone who reads something other than the comics or the sport pages.

***In addition, if you are shorter than 5'9", have no college education, or make less than a decent living, please continue your search. I know from previous experience that we would not be a good match. I add this because on another website (which shall remain nameless), I have gotten many responses from gentlemen who are under 5'5", have less than a high school education, and who make under $20K a year. I am a NYC public school teacher. I have not won megamillions and I am not independently wealthy. I cannot be anyone's "sugarmama".

It would really depend on the time of day and the weather. A coffee house or lounge are relatively safe, but a walk on the beach or through the park would be nice as well. Either way, some place quiet where we could hear one another without shouting over the din.
