OK***I know my profile is a lot to read, but if you are worth my time, you will read it. I've recently had a bit of a dirt bike accident resulting in 30+ staples and have what most guys deem a "really cool scar." I am recovering well, but still not running marathons (not that I ever ran marathons...) I spent six weeks on the couch and another two on crutches; hence I put on a few pounds. Don't freak out, I'm currently a size 6, (previously a size 4) and I will lose the weight, but since I am unable to do much in the way of aerobic exercise, it is coming off slowly, but it will come off! With that being said, on to my original profile...

I am a single mother of a 16 year old son. We live in Sterling Heights. I like to do just about anything. I love summer and really don't care much for winter. I am pretty down to earth and easy to get along with. I love to laugh and have a bit of a sarcastic sense of humor and have been called a smart ass more than once in my life. I don't care for people who pretend to be something they aren't or think that they are better than anyone else. I love to laugh and have a good time and for the most part I am pretty outgoing. There are some things I can't stand...poor hygiene, a lack of self confidence, laziness, users, losers, liars, cheaters and thieves and ...I don't understand shyness and really could never date anyone who was shy. Shyness screams lack of self confidence to me. I like confident men. Confidence is very sexy and quite a turn on, but there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance....can you walk the line?

If perfection is what you are looking for, you can keep on looking. I am FAR from perfect. Although I have my flaws, I try to be the best person I can be and I like who I am. I accept others for who they are also and do not expect anyone to change to be with me. Which leads me to the next thing, if you are looking for a mother, I'm not your girl either. I'm not in to "fixing" people. I figure by our age, if you can't fix yourself, I sure in the hell am not going to be able to, nor do I want to. This is not to say that I wouldn't encourage or support someone in reaching their goals and dreams. I absolutely believe that their is so much more to life than money, but money makes it much more fun! I'm looking to date and get to know people. I am not going on a date hoping that it will turn in to an instant relationship. I want the person I spend the rest of my life with to be my friend. I want to genuinely like them as a person and honestly enjoy spending time with them. So when I settle down with the right one, he will be someone I like as a person, enjoy spending time with and have an incredible chemistry with.

I am the type of person who will love someone completely, openly and honestly. I don't scare easily or give up when things aren't perfect and life throws you curves. I am the girl who will stand by her guy through thick and thin, for better or worse and love him in spite of his faults. I want the same.

I am not in to wasting time. If I give you my time, it means I think you are something special. I don't give my self, my time or my heart easily, so if you are one of the few guys that I see as worthy of these things, don't take it for granted! (And yes, I said WORTHY...you'll only question me using that word if you aren't.) I understand busy lives and hectic schedules...but don't waste my time. I know everyone says, "Your loss" when people go their separate ways, but I can promise you that if you screw up with me, it will be your loss. I am a single mother who has raised her son COMPLETELY on her own. I have what it takes to make it work, make it happen and make the best of things. I will give until I think I can't give anymore to make it work, make it happen and make the best of it and when I think I can't give anymore, I will pick myself up and keep on giving. If you don't have the character or courage to do the same, please move on, don't waste my time.

I understand you have a life, I want a guy who has a life, but I want someone who thinks I am special enough to make some time for me as well. If you want to date others, that's great, let me know up front, don't BS me about it. I'll make the decision if that is something I want to deal with or not.

I have some friends on here and I still communicate with them on here, but I have no problem getting off here for the right person if he asks. I've learned that if a guy doesn't question my being on here or ask me to not get on here, there is a reason for that! I expect that if we go out more than a couple of times, that we are trying to see if what we have is going somewhere and I will expect that neither of us will get on here while we are doing that. It's a RESPECT thing. Don't BS me with, "I don't know why I keep getting on here, I'm only dating you." "I only get on to see if you have left me cute e-mails." If I have your phone number and you have mine, why on earth would we continue to communicate through a dating site?

I'm far from perfect, but I am a great catch if you want someone who is honest, caring, understanding, giving and willing to go the extra mile to "MAKE IT HAPPEN"...I will be all of these things and so much more to the right person. Don't take advantage of that and don't take me for granted. Remember Karma is a B&*$^!

For all of those potentially great guys that I blew off over the last couple of months..I'm sorry. I obviously made a mistake, but I was only giving the same respect to someone that I thought I was getting by not going out with others. Since I have figured out I wasn't getting that same respect, I've moved on and I'm open to dating again...and if the situation calls for it, I am willing to give you that same respect as well.

Want to go to dinner at a nice restaurant? Sounds good! Grab a burger and a beer? I'm always up for that! I like my beer in a bottle, my burger with everything, my steak medium, crab legs without butter and my sushi deep-fried! Movie? Great! I might even be persuaded to watch a horror flick if you hold me tight! Walk barefoot along the beach? Lay on a blanket under the stars with a bottle of wine? Love it. Walk in the park? I love parks! Comedy clubs? I love to laugh! A game of pool? Will you let me win at least one? lol! Museums, festivals, art shows? Great! Summer concert at DTE? I love all kinds of music (ok, the exception is techno...at least any I've experienced thus far) Boating you say? As long as it's warm and there is sunshine! I'll even fish with you if you bait my hook! (Yes, I am a little girly when it comes to squishy, squirmy things) Car shows? Love 'em! Races? I like anything that goes fast! CJ Barrymoores/Go Karts/Bumper Cars? Yes! Bungee jumping, probably not...but Hot air baloons I could be convinced to try! Horse back riding? Cool! Tigers? Pistons? Red Wings? Absolutely! Lions? Ummm....LOL. Mud Bogs? Monster Trucks? Motorcross? Woo Hoo! Want to jump on a couple of Quads and ride the trails? I'm up for it! Only one? Well...as long as I can drive... So if any of the above sounds like fun to you...I'm your girl!
