I am : transplanted from southern New Brunwick.

My own interests & aptitudes are technical & analytical but I do not rule out meeting women who come from backgrounds which are far removed from mine.
"Professor" is a coworkers' nickname, but I am not now, nor have I ever been a university professor.

Tools, gadgets and gizmos get my attention whether for a workshop or a kitchen .... but beware I don't cook well, LOL. I don't mind being a cook's helper.

The world is a fascinating place and almost everything has something to take ones' interest whether indoors or out.

As for reading, its non-fiction or nothing.

As for music: To be specific my favorites is/are :: country / bluegrass, light-classical, Andre Rieu, marches / bagpipes (Tattoo), easy-listening including country, pop and big-band era.

Also, like beaches in the summer, drives, walks, camping, anything outdoors .... , anything except sky-diving or white-water rafting.

As for Golf, ummm ......its great for fresh air and natural beauty if you don't have it in your genes, LOL.

My first love, apart from large dogs, would be on or near the water (with dog), ie. boats. An occasional visit to our very own Nova Scotia Wildlife Park is sometimes on my agenda.

Owned a motorcycle a few years back.

I look after my health by healthy eating and more or less irregular exercise.
I am environmentally conscious, but not to extremes......... Oh, did I mention :/: I have all my teeth and in good hygiene = nice breath.

I prefer the lived-in look; usually seen in a pair of jeans and ball cap, but can dress-up equally well in a suit.

......clever and innovative, a knack for improvisation, intelligent, articulate, reflective, open and honest, realistic, hard worker, dependable, warm-hearted, considerate & sensual.

OBJECT: not looking to pamper or be pampered, just someone to spend time with!

If you are a lady who wonders why some guys don't contact you, maybe you should examine the restrictions that you have placed on who can contact you.

A "date" is something I have never understood. I'm flexible and open to suggestions. If you consider a first-time meeting at Tim's or McDonald's or Chapters to be acceptable, then so-be-it, but most times its like a job interview.

A little spontaneity is always an asset just to spice things up a bit.
