So I've been on a couple dates and I hear back that I'm to forward or outgoing with the things I say. I've always thought people didn't want the crap or filler that comes with meeting people. I could be coy and say something then give you a wink but is that really what guys want? People say they don't want the games. So I guess I'm trying to figure out what the happy medium is.....


I'm a bit over weight but I'm trying to find that man that doesn't mind helping me get fit and by help all I'm talking about is going out to the mountains hiking or camping etc... I'm outgoing I can be talkative (which to me would mean I should be good at carrying a conversation), I can be brutally honest without realizing it (its not meant to be hurtful I just don't like to beat around the bush and would rather be honest then lie, If you asked me if your pants made you look fat I'd ask you if you wanted the censored version or my honest opinion. I expect honesty I don't want people lying to me.) I want to find someone who has patience so if things don't go right the first time they don't just give up and walk away.

I'm looking for guys who are fun, imaginative and don't just follow the dating crowd. There's nothing wrong with dinner and a movie but I try and choose that after we've gone on some kind of interesting first date.

Ideas for an interesting dates:

teaching me to Snowboarding
Dog Sledding
Ski-Doo/Sea-Dooing
Mountain biking at a ski hill
Random Road Trip or Camping Trip
Geocaching (if you know what this is I'll like you even more) ;)
Playing Golf (I'm not good but its so much fun)
Playing nicky nicky nine doors on Calgary Flames Players

Okay those are just some ideas.

He's active. It doesn't mean He has to be at the gym with a six pac and "guns" for arms. Just someone that gets out instead of sitting inside all the time is what I'm looking for.

When it comes to looks I'm not picky but I do expect some things. I hope hes active likes to play sports like touch football (with me), but tackle with the boys. Maybe he can teach me about the game of basketball (I understand you get baskets in the opposing teams net I just don't understand when calls are played against the other team sometimes). I'll admit I watch football at only one time of the year and that's during the Superbowl. I watch it for 2 reasons, the first reason is to see the American commercials and the second is to stare at really cute butts when the guys are bent over for the hike (It is the hike I'm thinking about right?)

I'd go on about what turns me off but to be honest I think its a turn off to read that stuff. I'll try and make a promise to reply to everyone that messages me from this point on. If I don't message you back though don't take it personally there may have been something I read or saw that made me feel maybe we just wouldn't be right.

Oh the car in my pictures use to be mine (which everyone seems to be surprised over) but sadly she's no longer with me. I let a friend drive it and he lost control of the car and wrapped in around a pole. Luckily he was okay however the car was not. :(

My idea of a fun first date is roaming around Calgary just popping in and out of cool stores looking at things maybe spending my credit card until I max it out on me and you.........LOL did you just believe what I wrote?? Silly guys I was kidding I'm not much of a shopper

My real idea of a date and that's fun is Geocaching. If you don't know what it is but are curious do a google search. This is the perfect date activity, your able to talk to your date while searching for the item and you work as a team......or if you're competitive make a game of who can find the item first.
