I lived on Michigan Ave and Walton Streets in Chicago for most of my adult life. Then moved to quaint Dundee to be closer to sisters and family. I enjoy everything. I look at "newness" as "prettiness". Learning, talking to folks, trying something new is an "adventure". I can laugh at myself and still be secure within. I had no children but am very active with my great nieces/nephews, who I enjoy being with; sharing adventures with and just talking to. I scuba, tinker at golf, love culture; ie: art, architecture and music. Favorite places I've been: Williamsburg, Virginia, "Haunted" Alton, ILL for ghost hunting, Italy, New York; (Houston St for shopping), Little Italy (for dining), Chinatown (for gazing), English countrysides, Isle of Man, UK, Virgin Islands for sailing & scuba, Bermuda & Las Vegas for gambling. I'm not looking to change anyone and I don't want a "duplicate" of me. Someone who's not set in their ways; is spontaneous, has a witty personality I can banter with, likes traveling, fine dining, can dance, takes road trips, loves clothes and dresses well, and doesn't mind discussing, with an open mind, spirituality, UFO's, History, Movies, Politics and "What If's. It would be wonderful to find a gentlemen who doesn't expect to be "taken care of" but rather can share himself, his ideas, experiences, laughter, hugs, is romantic, has manners. Who can look at life through rose-colored glasses, but is confident, intelligent and well grounded. Someone who can still see the fun and excitement in life, even though you've experienced loss, heartache & pain. It's a gamble!
