I have a hard time just sitting and watching tv, so I'm always doing something - riding my bike, working in my yard, decorating another part of my house or building something. I've done a few local bike rides and am looking forward to my first triathlon. Unfortunately, I had a pretty bad accident that made me miss this season. 9/23 But I guess I'm getting back to it because I just registered for the Outlaw Trail 100 ride in Round Rock!

I've lived in the Austin area all my life and yet have not experienced everything here. So my goal for 2009 is to do all kinds of Austin things. Riding my bike on every trail in town, Camping at Marble Falls, hiking at Enchanted Rock, visiting the museums, check out SOCO, etc.

I've been self employed since 1995 and I get to work out of my home. It's nice, but it doesn't give me much of a chance to socialize. I'm not a big happy-hour kind of person (it’s that shy-in-a-crowd thing - I'm much more likely to people watch than introduce myself).

I'm constantly learning and I’m looking for someone that inspires me.

I want to be in love again. That crazy, butterflies in the stomach, can’t help but smile when I hear your voice on the phone, can’t keep my hands off you, can’t wait to hear what you have to say next, exchanging knowing glances over a crowded room, holding hands in the car, exchanging random flirty text messages during the day …

In the meantime, I'm enjoying meeting new people.

I really don't care what we do as long as it's somewhere we can get to know each other. Meet for coffee - go for a bike ride - a walk in the park - fishing - I'm up for just about anything. Bonus points if you like karaoke.
