"SPENDING YOUR DASH"
I read of a man who stood to speak at a funeral of a friend
He referred to the dates on his tombstone from the beginning to the end.
He noted that first came his date of birth,& spoke the 2nd date with tears
But what he said that mattered most of all,was the dash between the years.
For the dash represents all the time he spent alive on earth
And now that those that love him, know what that little line was worth.
For it matters not,how much we own,the cars...the house...the cash
What matters is how we live and love,and how we spend our dash.
So think about this long and hard,are there things you would like to change?
For you never know how much time is left,that can still be rearranged.
If we could just slow down, enough to consider whats true and real
And always try to understand,the way other people feel.
And be less quick to anger,and show appreciation more,
And love the people in our lives,like we have never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect,and more often wear a smile
Remembering that this special dash,might only last a little while.
So when your eulogy is being read,with your life actions to re-hash
Would you be proud of the things they'd say,about how you spent your dash!!!!!


If you are looking for a man that was raised with old fashioned values.A true gentlemen that will open your doors and pull your chair out.Someone who was raised to respect all women and pamper and spoil them,not abuse them verbally and physically. Then maybe it's fate if you message me.

I think a first date should not have too many expectations, meeting in a public place, maybe a game of mini-golf, a long walk with some great conversation to see what we have in common, and see if there is a physical attraction. Then if their is a connection maybe a trip to wonderland or the theatre or a day at the beach. Conversation about life,family,beliefs are key to compatability.
