I was born and raised in California and spent the first 22 years of my life there. After my undergraduate education I moved to Utah for a few years for more school before finally moving to Denver in December of 2005. Thus, I'm not your typical "Coloradan" (at least not yet), but am slowly and surely trying to fit the mold of a typical Colorado resident. I look forward to really taking advantage of the plethora of outdoor activities that exist here.

I recently purchased a home here and look forward to making this city my permanent residence for the forseeable future. I really enjoy Denver and all the wonderful things it offers - the mountains, the singles-friendly atmosphere, the down to earth people, the outdoor activities, and the awesome weather.

I'm a pretty laid back guy who works hard and plays hard. I'm very committed to my career in the space industry but understand that one should establish boundaries with work. As such I usually try my best to have fun outside of work. I fill my time with a variety of activities ranging from taking classes, playing sports, going to movies, dining at nice restaurants, shopping, hanging out with friends, going to bookstores, and outdoor activities such as hiking and biking. When I have time off work I like to travel - I believe life is too short not to see the entire world! I usually take one to two big trips a year depending on my finances. Although I fill my time with lots of activities, I'm also the type of person that enjoys staying home and doing simpler things. I read a lot (mainly nonfiction) and also like playing board games and video games and watching television.

I'd take my first date to a nice restaurant and then perhaps for coffee afterwards. After that I'd ask if she'd like to take a walk in the park under the stars.
