I think I'm a very bad online dater. I have actually met and dated people that I met online in the past... but I still can't say that I like this method of meeting people. It's so contrived and I really think it does something unhealthy to online daters' egos and the fact that new members are always joining... there's always another "fish" (errr hate that cheesey fish stuff lol)... Dating multiple people at once isn't my thing - but I think I'm in somewhat of a minority here.... and talking to someone over MSN for eons prior to meeting... only to learn that chemistry is not quite there upon an in-person meet n greet is silly in my mind... I just don't want to put that much effort into an unsure thing... So I'm here but I'm admtitting my suckiness and disdain for this whole thing upfront so y'a know. I'm not giving up on using this as a "diversification of options" tool... but it's not something that I'm willing to put my heart and soul into until we meet in the flesh... There are some super duper people here (including me of course :D) but I'm not a believer that using the net is a great route to meet boys...

I like to read profiles (it provides a weird voyeuristic sense of entertainment). If someone really catches my attention - then I won't pass it by...

~ Me in a nutshell..

I'm pretty girly (if you saw how many scented creams I've got in my washroom you'd understand...) yet I drive a stick and know how to use a drill lol. I'm laid back, open-minded, and not easily offended.

I'm relatively new to Toronto and having a blast exploring the city and its abundance of things to do and places to go.

I'm going through a bit of a party-girl phase right now, (which isn't at all like me lol). It'll pass but it'd be fun to have a sidekick to dance and be silly with.

I guess the word "nice" is the most commonly-used adjective to describe me. I'm not sure if it's a blessing or a curse.. but I get along with most-anyone and I love meeting new people. I may come off somewhat sugar-coated but there are more layers to my personality than what one might initially assume.

- I have a pretty keen interest in Politics (Canadian and American). I'm as Liberal as they come.. You don't have to be as much of a political junkie as me - but at least have some knowledge and beliefs in this arena because I obtain a weird sense of euphoria when the topic comes up lol.

I've got the whole Gemini, multi-personality thing going on for me. At times I can be somewhat of a case of contradictions...
...an open book/private, silly/serious, intelligent/flakey, athletic/klutzy, naiive/experienced, playful/sensual, picky/loyal, perfectionist/easy-going.

I've lived, learned, laughed, cried and still going :)

I don't care about what you have. I care about who you are. Superficial things don't make you hot (well maybe to a certain type of girl... I'm not that girl...)

Ultimately, (either here or in the "real world"), I'd like to find something special-enough to go the distance but that is a step-by-step process.... I'm not a serial dater; I'm selective but when I'm interested - I'm interested...


I'm a go-with-the-flow type of girl. If mutual sparks fly - great. If not - well hopefully we can have a few laughs and maybe find a new friend.

Ok. Sometimes I log on here to kill time or to numb my brain when I need to zone out.
Sometimes I just really don't feel like writing - please don't take offence if it takes me awhile to respond to a note..

Also - a lot of guys complain about women not responding to their messages on here. I am the most un-biatchy girl that I know... but I don't respond to all the notes that I get here - it's not possible. Women just get a lot of mail on dating sites...Please don't be offended if I don't respond - you're fabulous :) but maybe I don't see our mutual fabulousness meshing well...
