Been moving around a bit over the past 5 yrs. I'm originally from DC, but moved to Austin for grad school... Right now I'm open to any type of relationship, from friendship to something more serious.

What do I love to do most...probably travel. I've been to quite a few places but I'm always looking forward to the next trip. I've been to Cancun, Cabo, Mazatlan, Acapulco, Negril, St. Maarten, Vancouver, Toronto, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand (Phuket, Bangkok), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Penang), Sweden, Spain (yep, Ibiza too!), Poland, Hungary. I would like to travel to New Zealand, Colombia, China, Brazil, Estonia...the list goes on. I guess it's no surprise that I watch a lot of Travel Channel...

I'm looking for a gal that's pretty laid back and unpretentious, but not without direction. Someone who'll go dancing ''with me but also like to go for a walk on the lake or in a park. Someone who is sociable, but not uncomfortable being alone. It would be a huge bonus if you like (or at least can tolerate) watching football; I love watching the Longhorns and UVa (when I can get them).

I'm a pretty easy going guy myself and don't take myself too seriously, but I do have career ambitions. Work is important, but I make it a point to enjoy my life. That's why I'm always looking to travel.

Other things I like: sitting on sunny tropical beaches, spicy foods, good music to dance to, meeting different types of people from different locations/cultures, dogs, vodka gimlets, individualism...

I have no preconceived notions of what a first date should be, so I'm pretty much up for anything...okay maybe not line country-line dancing...
