I'm an amusing guy. My friends would tell you I'm fun to be with, have a silly, sarcastic, sometimes wry sense a humor, am very active and always willing to try something new.

The truth is, there's usually a laugh riot going on in my head. I'm almost constantly amused. Maybe the repressive catholic upbringing had this effect. Not sure. I shed the catholicism - much as one can - but the laughing remains.

I'm quietly insane.


I think chemistry is essential to a good relationship, so I'm rather skeptical about online matches. I can't tell much about someone from a few photos and a few paragraphs. Some services will even spruce up a profile, perhaps making it more catchy, but making it less clear what's to be caught.

Skepticism notwithstanding, I write on.


What else?

I cook interesting, often rather spicy foods, (used to) drink nice wines, and generally pander to my palate. I'd be fat from all this palate pandering, but I'm blessed with helpful genes and an insane work-out ethic: crossfit.

Crossfit grows on you. Maybe you've spotted crossfitters at your gym: They're usually in a big hurry and maybe moving back and forth between the treadmill and the pull up bar or something like that. Or they're lying on the floor in a heap after a workout. You get tired just watching them.

That's me.

Not always in a blur of activity, I also watch birds. Very sedate.

I struggle with balancing activity and inactivity. I'm a pretty good couch potato if not in some manic blur at the gym.
