I am currently very happily seeing someone I met here and so I changed my looking for field to friends.

I have never had much luck at meeting a lot of new people, as it always seems the things I like never put me in touch with new groups of people. I was never a fan of the bar scene, and it is hard to get to know someone in a movie theater with it being well... rather pitch black and noisy.

Other than the occasional wild hair, I am responsible with my money, goal oriented towards having a fun and prosperous life, and passionate about finding someone who I click with on many levels.

I am not terribly chatty overall, although once I get excited about a subject I cannot get enough. I am a very good active listener, and have been complimented for my gift giving awareness several times.
I like the forest and the ocean, and hiking in or near them are some of my favorite past times.
I would love to meet a strong and capable woman who is honest, witty, and not easily shocked by the world around them. Open about their desires and fun to be around whether they are out on the town or spending a quiet evening at home. Being a fan of Monty Python and Adult Swim would be a big plus.

I wish I could be more flexible on the not wanting a family part, but seriously, a cat and a couple of fish have proven to be the limit of my parental capabilities. OK, and a cactus too, but that is my hard limit.

I will have to work on this one. I have not been on a lot of first dates and I always think I look a bit foolish in my attempts to act normally. It would really depend on the person I was with and what I figure we both like doing after getting to know her for a bit.
