My choice for a perfect first date would be to meet downtown at the city center at night and walk to Second Cup on Jasper Ave (preferably not the one connected to the library) and sit and talk over coffee and relatively decent music. Afterwards, we could always take our drinks outside and wander around downtown and the river valley or walk to White Ave talking about everything and anything. Conversation is the key... or something.
