WANTED: Real flesh and blood gentleman who can laugh with others and at himself, enjoys life because the alternative isn't an option, can't wait to see what's coming around the next corner, is grounded, yet knows that by exploring the unknown the opportunities are endless and finally - knows that his best friend is the one who stands, walks, dances, and trips thru life with him no matter what. One who values family, friends and community.

Those with a sense of humor, sense of adventure, possessing common sense, self-respect, loyalty, and common courtesy should step up and be counted.

I've encountered a lot of interesting individuals online - some good, some bad, some indifferent and made lots of online friends from all over the world by chatting with them in the forums.

What I'm really searching for is that special someone who can converse, both in the written form and verbally, who enjoys exploring life and all the paths that are open to those who choose to venture forth. Someone who becomes my best friend and ultimately, the last love of my life.

I love to travel...I'm heading to Tasmania in November 2009. I also enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, swimming, riding horses, motorcycles, bicycles, going for long walks, picnics, perusing festivals, farmers markets, or just staying at home, reading a good book, watching a movie, working around the house and yard.

I enjoy working out - I'm not a fanatic, but I enjoy sweating. :)

I'm very eclectic in foods - enjoy trying new venues and ethnic cuisines. Still exploring...

I love all of nature - even the not so nice things that most people shudder about when confronted.

Things to do include: watch my grandson grow up (hopefully future grandchildren as well), certify as open water diver, go whitewater rafting, hang gliding, travel to as many places on this wonderful earth as I can possibly fit in before I pass from it, and, finally, not least either - grow old with my best friend and last love of my life, walking hand in hand towards that last sunset.
