Hey there! Thanks for viewing my profile! My names Dwayne, (although people often call me 'D') I'm 26, 5ft6, can sometimes be random and cheeky (in a nice way of course)! I'm normally quite chatty and love a drink down the pub with a group of mates chatting about various things, going clubbing and all sorts really...

I live in Westbury (Wilts) but living in a town where theres not much to do means i often travel out of town to other nearby towns. Eg. I'm often out on Friday or Saturday nights if (I'm not working) in Trowbridge as theres a few pubs and clubs there and is only a 5 minute drive away. Likewise with shopping too as Westbury doesnt have many shops other then something similar to "corner shops" or a couple "independent shops". Not really somewhere to do ya weekly shop or to go and buy things ya need on demand!

I also work on the edge of Bristol (Longwell Green). I used to go out a lot in Swindon, Chippenham, Devizes and a few other places but not so much recently due to money and work (hours).

Things that interest me include cars, media production, driving, mountain biking (which I do a lot of), DJing, live music/gigs, clubs/pubs, going out, having a laugh and socialing as well as meeting new people.

Music wise I like trance, house, indie, rock, ska, some reggae, accustic and depending on my mood some RnB. I don't like pop music and I can't stand manufactured music ethier! (i hate manufactured music with a passion! Sorry!)
Movie wise I like thrillers, actions, comedies, horrors and some adventure films mainly. Speaking of films I now work in Bristol Longwell Green at the Vue Cinema there as a 'Guest Assistant' so if ya see me say " hi! "

Stuff on TV I like to watch includes F1, motoracing, Top Gear (my fav show), Simpsons, Lost, Only Fools And Horses, Casualty (altho I've not had time to watch it in a while), The X Files when that was on TV and a few other random shows!

I'm on here to make some new friends to meet up with from time to time as the few mates i had who i often met up with I've lost contact with as they went to uni or moved away from my area or still in contact with but rarely meet with or cant meet with anymore because of the distance. The few other mates i have locally don't really seem to be acting like mates and always let me down lately so I've decided its time i find some new (true/decent) friends closer to home!

I'm looking to make new friends (to hopefully meet with as proper friends) in the Trowbridge, Westbury, Melksham, Frome, Warminster, Bradford on Avon, Devizes area as thats my imediate local area and other nearish places like Bath, Corsham, Calne, Chippenham area as thats on the edge of my local area.
I also dont mind looking for people just outside that area too -such as Swindon, Bristol, Sailsbury etc but those last few places would mean I'd only be able to meet a handful of times each year rather then once or twice (or more) each month.

As for love, well I would love to have a girlfriend in my life, although I'm not actually looking. Instead I'm waiting for true love to find me when its ready too. Although, after two bad experiences the next girl has to be someone i feel attracted too as going out with two girls i didnt feel attracted to in any way only made me feel more sure they wern't my type dispite presure from now ex mates to go out with them! if it comes to love, then it has to be someone i like this time no matter what the presures are from people saying i "have to go out with them" etc. etc.

I'm looking for friends who like to meet up sometimes, not love although i will consider it if it does exsist. (just to make that clear!)

I'm also quite a chatty person and love to chat, which has landed me a trouble a few times... like talking to customers and staff too much, people end up staying longer then they planned because they get engrossed in the conversations i have and so on...

oh! if you may also reconise my voice if ya ever hear me speak, two reasons for that, might have heard me on a local RSL radio station doing various things in Wiltshire. Or, and maybe most likely, you've heard one of the many podcasts i do on various subjects, including a monthly astronomy what to see guide, the orion radio podcast (not actualy a real station, but use the name as the podcast is like a mini radio show and it aims to hunt down subjects others arnt covering-hence the name), the fortnightly blog rambles (just me talking b011cks basically!) film review podcasts, band review podcasts and loads of other random podcasts.-and Some are also on youtube.(most on my youtube channel) So ya may reconise my voice from that.

Also,why is it, almost everyone on here never seems interested? i reply to 100s of profiles on here, and i'd be lucky to get one reply...what are ya all doing on here?hehe! I'd be jumping up and down with joy if someone read my profile and sent me a message!


Also, if you would like my mobile number then we need to have been emailing on here at least a few times before i consdier giving it out. (I dont like people asking me to give them my number on their first reply to an email as i dont give my number out to just anyone with out knowing a bit about them-sorry to be blunt about it-i do mean it in a nice way). If ya have my number make sure ya let me know whos texting me (eg name and profile name) because i dont normally reply to numbers i dont reconise due to having troubles before with weird people somehow getting hold of my number a few years ago (probably down to someone i know thinking it was funny to hand it out to everyone) so now I'm very careful over who has my number.

If I was lucky enough to have a 'first date' then I'd go to a quiet pub, restaurant, cinema or something like that and have a chat over a drink and find out more about ourselves and see if there's any chemistry between us and go from there... If we have started dating each other then I may take ya out to see the sunset from a hill, buying ya flowers, and making the most of something magical and special and of course close to my heart...
Actually come to think of it, the cinema option i mentioned might not be a good idea since i first wrote that over a year ago and since then ive been working in a cinema so maybe something else for that one hehe!

I'd love to find love, the girl of my dreams coming over and chatting with me somewhere, whether it be work, pub, club or whereever but i dont actually believe in love anymore as i've never found it when i was looking up until 2004ish and its never found me and i'm 26 now. -its starting to look like it doesnt exsist. If it does then it will find me when its ready too. I just have to wait for that day to arrive.

PS. don't panic if it takes me a couple of days to reply, - I might not get enough time between work shifts to reply to messages, so I tend to read them and try to reply to them the following day. But I will reply!! (promise if not you can tell me off! hehe!)


Also, why is it I keep getting places in Wales and Bournemouth appearing on my local searches and they'll over 50 miles away?! Anyone know why so i can change it?
