I am one of those incredibly fortunate men who was able to take what I love to do most and am hugely passionate about and grow it into a fun, thriving business that enriches people’s lives.

I feel that for a man to really be a man and grow into the full strength and solidity of his masculinity, he needs to find his mission in life and create a fun, flexible plan for manifesting it.

My life’s purpose is that I teach men and women how to fully develop themselves in mind, body and spirit…and then to live dynamically within the strength of those strengths…all while enjoying the journey.

For me there is no greater thrill than when people come and tell me how profoundly the knowledge and skills I have taught them has changed their life.

I really love the life I have created and all good things are better and richer when shared with good friends and good company…

Many years ago, after stepping in one too many slush puddles, I moved south to live in the warmth of the tropical sun. Winter for me now lasts about one week when I journey north to enjoy the holidays with my family.

My mom has a cozy little red cottage hidden away in the mountains, with a wood burning cast iron stove, water piped in from a mountain spring and wild critters wandering through the backyard -and on occasion peering though the windows. Think Hansel and Gretel minus the witch, the drama…and the edible house.

Best moment this holiday: Standing in an aspen grove…total stillness…as my favorite kind of snow began to fall…those really huge flakes that float down so slowly they almost seem to hiss. Catching one and watching it slowly melt from the heat of my hands…then just savoring the moment and listening …a silence so deep and absolute it was almost surreal …perfect…

My ideal first date is not the usual, uninspired dinner/interview…it is more a non-date. It’s two people being together, connecting and getting to know each other. How about we stay in the moment and explore the possibilities of what can happen? If we get past that then the romance will flow easily if it is there to be shared.

If food and fire will add to the experience then we can do Iron Chef Tropics. I will prepare dinner; you bring your best dessert. (Though if I were your big brother I might not let you come, so we may have to save that challenge ‘til another week)

Madison Avenue and adolescent men of all ages seem to believe that girls in their early 20s (preferably waif skinny) are the feminine ideal. As a man I find that women in their 30s and 40s, who have come into a deeper understanding of themselves and their femininity, are more interesting, alluring…and much more beautiful than those younger girls.

Note: Honor and integrity are keystones in both my personal and professional life. When you spend time in my world you will discover that these are qualities that I am well known for and highly value. I don’t allow second-class behavior in myself and I really try to live my life at my best. I expect the same and celebrate it in the people in my life.

My pictures are all recent. I think they are accurate. I am a big, athletic man, not fitness mag ripped, but very powerfully built. I really am 5’10” and last I checked around 235lbs. I really am happily 43.

Most likely not on a very first date but I love going to the beach for a moonlight picnic. There is something very peaceful about feeling the ocean breeze across your face, the shoosh of the waves and watching the lights of the ships as they go slipping away into the dark...

Locally...Chocolada on Hollywood Blvd or Hollywood Vine on Harrison for a glass of wine.

I love going to Las Olas or Lincoln Road with good friends on Sunday nights. Outdoor table at Cafe Europa for cappuccino, conversation, people watching and dessert...
Creamy, rich raspberry mascarpone cheesecake is my current favorite.
