Hi, Genuine guy here! I am a friendly and easy going person. I like music and going out. At the moment I like The Fratellis, Badly Drawn Boy, Arctic Monkeys, the Killers, Scouting for Girls, the Twang and Radiohead. I like children and have 3, they don't live with me. I live in Birmingham at the moment and would really like to meet someone who lives nearby, though I might travel for the right person! I am interested in finding someone to share my spare time with in a fulfilling and enjoyable way. I particularly enjoy good food with good wine or beer and the occasional single malt whisky. I like travelling and I have been to a few different countries. I like to read sometimes, Douglas Adams, Charles****ns and Jane Austen. I like to read historical material too. My musical tastes tend towards indie and alternative. Television - wise, I don't watch it that much but I tend to go for comedies, historical programmes or documentaries. My favourite films include Life of Brian, Master and Commander, A Foreign Field, Being There, Rita, Sue and Bob too, Wish You Were Here, Mona Lisa and Local Hero. I am not much into sports, either playing or watching. I prefer to execise by going for walks.
I feel that two people in a relationship should be equal and independent. They should find pleasure in each other's company whilst being able to function as individuals whilst apart. I don't feel that all their interests and views should be identical so long as there are no fundamental clashes. One should trust and feel confident in one's partner and not try to control them!
