I'm caring and independent and try to find the good in people. I think I'm pretty grounded but I also am romantic. I tend to keep to myself and it is sometimes difficult to get to know me, but I am definitely worth the effort. Despite first impressions, I can be very easy going and flexible. I would like to have an easy, trusting relationship. That's the goal.

Depending on the time of year, there are different things I like to do. My favorite thing is to be by the water - either the bay or the ocean. I also like to "haunt" the flea markets and antique shops. Some of my favorite things are cooling off in the summer and warming up in the winter.

I see most people looking for someone with 'no baggage'. Good luck with that. At this point we all have baggage. The trick is to learn how to handle it and if it gets in the way, deal with it together.

First dates are so awkward. It is so much better to meet at a POF event and if there is mutual interest, plan a real date.
