Is there anyone left on this site?? LOL!!! It's WAY too quiet!! I wish there were a way to blog on here!!
Anyway,when meeting someone,although I do believe that initial attraction is important, I also know that true love takes time.
I am the type of person that insists on showing others respect, and would appreciate the same.
I am returning to my love of dancing, writing,and other things like yard sales, playing pool, etc, but I so wish that I had someone fun to enjoy them with!!
It would be nice to meet someone that likes to socialize and dance and enjoys people. You, my partner, would be very important to me and I would take joy in including you in every area of my life.
People say that I am the best at being a good friend and listener, and a very giving person, and have a huge heart. It is very important to me to be understanding and put every effort in to not being judgemental.
I would like to find someone that is self confident, funny, understanding, and affectionate.
Laughter is MY best medicine, LOL!!! As most,I certainly do enjoy a good joke. So, I would like to find someone that will be able to laugh with me and join with me in enjoying every day. Keeping the candle burning in a relationship is important and takes some work from both people, but SO worth the benefits! Seeing myself with someone kind, and someone that loves a good conversation, keeps my dream alive.
I think it is SO important to learn not to take advantage of each other or the time we have together. We only travel this road once, so I would love to have a partner that would join me in making the best of it!
I don't really care for the controlling or demanding type of person. I am very easy going, and would like and deserve the same in a mate.
I would say that the interests that top my list for me are my writng, traveling, spending time with family and friends, AND my partner, NOT in that order, AND DANCING!!!!!!!!!!!! I would prefer to find someone that shares these interests or at least encourages my love of them. Maybe someone even willing to learn to dance?? LOL!
Writing is a part of me. I write a lot of poetry. It comes from the depths of my soul when I do write, so if I ever write something for YOU, I cannot help for it to come directly from my heart. It is a gift and a talent, and I feel blessed to have it, as well as always try to bless others with it, in ways that even still amaze me.
I think that the word RESPECT should have started with an "A" and been listed as the first word in the dictionary. To me, "respect" encompasses so many positive qualites a person that posesses it would have, for themselves as well as others. Love, honesty, compassion, honor, are just a few words that come to mind. If you respect a person, it would be difficult if not impossible to seperate these quailities and just have a part of them.
With you, I will delight in being your best friend, lover, confidante, and dancing partner. I will smile when I think of you, and hum as a go about my daily routine knowing that the sweetest man in the whole world has chosen ME to love.
I am not looking for anyone that is perfect or someone to complete me, own me, or judge me, and I would respect you and your feelings enough to where I would not be doing that to you either.
So if anything I said makes you give me a second thought, PLEASE email me and ask questions of me if there is more you would like to know. After all, how else would we get to know each other?!
