It is impossible to describe all of the characteristics that make me who I am. It is simple. You have to get to know me for the unique and interesting person that I am. I find it hard to meet women in social situations, not because I am all that shy or awkward, but rather because I have an imposing presence that seems to intimidate women slightly. I am a 31 year-old man looking for an affectionate, honest, funny, caring woman (who isn't, right?) I love the outdoors and spend a lot of time doing the multitude of outdoor activities; camping, fishing, hunting, hiking. I am not sure about the online dating scene, but the regular scene has never been very effective. I love music. I recently picked up the guitars again, so I am back at getting better. I have multiple aunts, uncles, and consequently cousins. Many of them have offspring too. I have one brother and a nephew, but the rest of the family is pretty large and I love getting together on holidays and at reunions. Our family, in general is very tight. I consider myself morally stable, financially responsible (except at Christmas time), and fundamentally good-natured. I hope I sparked your interest, Miss Right.

Atmosphere is the deciding factor in getting to know someone. For example: How well would you know someone if all you did was watch a really loud movie? I suppose the best atmosphere for me on a first date would be a walk on a late spring day. Maybe a picnic by a nice stream or pond. I don't know if I could date a woman who wouldn't climb a tree. I don't mean you have to climb trees, but the act of getting dirty and having fun is a must. I am not sure that I will ever fully grow up. I guess that is why I became a biologist.
