About me: I am or have been at one time or another a: maverick, incurable optimist and romantic (that will never change), explorer, student, warrior/Iaidoka, scholar, joker, story-teller, adrenaline junkie, philosopher, Master, teacher, poet, sorcerer-in-training, KM2V, hero and scoundrel. I have expressive "bedroom" eyes, a great imagination and a deep abiding interest in sensuous pleasure, both giving and receiving. I'd rather play sports than watch them, have sex than cyber and in general live Life to the fullest rather than watch it pass me by. In fact, I am probably down to my last three lives by now. I have an irreverent, quirky and spontaneous sense of humour that bursts forth when I get comfortable with people, and simply doesn't translate well onto the written page, so you'll have to wait and experience it in person. I am also not for the faint of heart. Hard and fast is how I live, I love, I work and I play; there is never enough time to accomplish all that I want in Life. Right now I have been inspired to write what will be the defining novel of the 20th century for a select group of people (IMO). I also love to dance, Argentine Tango, Merengue and Samba being my favourites, with Viennese Waltz and Rumba not far behind. There is a grace, sensuality and intimacy in dance that transcends mere movement. And for aerobic exercise, it beats the hell out of going to the gym (gym = good for the body, bad for the mind). I can do the gymrat thing, but prefer my exercise to be more "interactive".

It's too bad that this site only allows for a single choice of what I am looking for. I reviewed all of the choices and decided on "friends" because it was the only one that didn't label Me (one of the few things that I really dislike). Friends yes, but much more than that; activity partners, intimates and lovers, together filing in those gaps in each others normally satisfying lives. FWB, yet with allowances for sweet tenderness and gentle intimacies, and/or whatever is safe, sane and consensual.

I LIKE: (in addition to my interests and in no particular order.
- - giving kisses so intense that they leave you breathless and weak at the knees, cuddling in front of a campfire, fireplace or even a couple of candles
- historic or ancient artifacts
- walking at night in the fog,
- books: The Prophet, World War Z, The Law of Attraction; Guns, Germs & Steel; What Would Buddha Do, When Someone You Love is Kinky, Think Big & Kick Ass, Seven Deadly Wonders, Go Rin No Sho
- Movies sci-fi/fantasy/adventure, & spaghetti westerns
- all kinds of music except classic country. Actually I tend to judge the individual song rather than the artist or genre, so its anyones guess what I like, even mine.
- The Far Side, Reno 911, MXC, Family Guy, The Daily Show, Robot Chicken, Discovery channel, Monty Python ("We are the Knights who now say Icky Icky Icky Patang Zooboing!")
- smoked salmon, dark meat, tangerines, hummous, peanut butter with chocolate, fresh fruit and cheese, Caribbean rum (minimum 12 years old), Baileys, Belgian Monastery beers
- barosmia, eroto-herbalism, the feeling of warmth and intimacy in aftercare, (SSC & RACK compliant)
- grass or cool sand underfoot, rock gardens with fountains and lots of plants
- skiing (X-country & downhill), kayaking (just getting started in it though)

So what am I looking for? The executive summary: a woman with a body that won't quit, a mind that doesn't want to and a personality that makes Me feel good just by being with her. Ok, the specifics so far:
- height/weight proportionate (but, being tall myself, I have a confessed weakness for the same),
- a great sense of style and presence no matter how off the wall,
- intelligence enough to comprehend that there is more to life than tonight's edition of ET, Dr Phil or Oprah,
- an enticing perfume,
- willingness to try anything at least once and discretion!
- a scuba buddy in the summer, and a dance partner anytime,
- open to new experiences, willing to push the envelope and available at odd times of the day or week.
- I even like the occasional tatt or piercing, as long as you don't set off metal detectors when you go through airport security.
