I want to get used to going out with and meeting someone through plenty of fish, a real woman, and if not to eventually date in seeking a long term relationship, then to get to know of a friendly acquaintance.

The outdoors is a good scene to acquaint with nature and so is hot tubbing, play pool and practise guitar.
I have tried and liked snowboarding better than skiing. :)~
I like someone going out with me places when I feel like having someone to go out with and someone to show me stuff, and if we get along fine, you could help decorate my place as it could use some. I also want to find a dance partner to go dancing with.

I am open to a wide domain of activities where I have met interesting people. I am open to just about any interest that spurs up and enjoyment along the way.
It tires me out when the resulting matches on here are pages and pages long ..that means you too will have to write me and you have no excuse for me not bumping into you first.

My observation on profiles:

Quite a few profiles on here seek good qualities such as an honest man, sincere and more, but how will you truly find out or meet any genuine guy if most of the messages are only read or deleted even?

I am finding it super hard to get any replies to having simply expressed interest in going out and for even a short 15-minute coffee break is it too much to ask, I mean why are you here or else I wouldn't have taken some time to reply to your online profile if you hadn't expressed interest, besides, why would anybody say so and yet not mean it anyway? At least let me know why you wouldn't or couldn't go or that you are busy or you are checking out or with someone else, so as not to bother writing. Just not sure how to otherwise interpret it, as if that wasn't it already.
Time flies, it just might be that you are missing out on great opportunities for who and what you seek on here but somehow chose not to go by what you seek in not replying for first contact. Just remember great things can only happen because of that first step you make! Yes even with a simply reply on here. Otherwise it is called chance and only those who are irresponsible have it that chances are left to the unpredictable winds because they wouldn't come by that often either, after time is lost to the wind it soon gets too late to even bother.

I like to check out people who viewed me on here. The downside on the "who viewed me" feature is that people are left wondering if a visitor, in reading someone else's profile is sincere in expressing basic interest but is shy or lazy to reply, or simply wanting to look further into someone else's basic stats. just for the sake of wanting to know more about that person (and still not send a message).

Dating versus anything less:

I hold a date to mean a couple who have previously met or known each other and are intently interested in getting to know more of each other on a personal note or romantically and with the intent of possibly taking the relationship at hand to the next level, ofcourse judging by how things work out between the two along the way, than being based only on a first outing.

That is Dating, but I would rather call meeting for the first time with someone a meet or meet'n'greet.

The word Dating doesn't have to be so rigid or stressful with expectations when short meet'n'greet outings will do for starters. There shouldn't be an expectation that anything will, must or has to work out into the start of a relationship just from a first meet.

On a first meet I am open to going out for ice-cream, an nice evening out, a movie and popcorn, hang out at any place of social interest or whatever you suggest, we could figure that out or will decide together.

For a match I would generally look for someone who is easy going, does not have to have the same interests I do but would be quite alright if she did, someone who is honest, is able to show confidence and trust in others, and be receptive and a good listener(I will mark you on this one! lol), can appreciate sensitivity be of good cheer, have respect, self esteem and treat a gentleman right.
