Finally the chaos of work has stopped and a regular shift is now going to allow me to actually go out in the evening and weekends...yay! Since mid Feburary I have been working days, afternoons, graveyards, and many 12 hour and double shifts...But I did it to get a better position at work so it was worth it.

I think someone from the Prarie Provinces would be a good match for me, or "low maintenance" non-materialistic, not superficial, the kind of person that will sit and listen to a seniors story and not be bored wanting to run away. I am looking for someone real, actually aware of world issues, does not neeed to put make-up on to leave the house, maybe even try to fix a flat tire on a bike, not afraid to break a nail, and can actually hold a conversation on several topics...in the same day!

I was born in the USA, lived there til I was almost 13, then moved to Saskatchewan where my mom was born. (Yes I am dual Citizen) I was raised by a single parent (Mom), and she did a good job of raising 3 kids on her own. I looked up to my Grandfather as a father figure, as he was like John Wayne, big, quiet and honorable. He did all the farm work on his own, injured or not, and treated all people and nature with the respect they deserve.

I am a technical person, I need to know how things work, and am very detail oriented. I will do as much research as necessary to achieve my goal. I have completed (successfully) SAIT Power Engineers course, Computer Repair/Networking, and a Web Design course in the past.
I love to cook and can do miracles with odds and ends, and make it edible too. Well, within reason...twice I have had to scrap the creation and order pizza.
I have a strong work ethic. I am loyal and trustworthy. I love to laugh, and can be a bit of a prankster.I worked in the oilfield for 8 years, so I do like to get my hands dirty and fix things. I have no tatoos, nothing against them, they are just not me. I do not gamble, never have been to a casino, can find a thousand better ways to have fun spending my money. I respect all religions with the exception of Scientology ...... just does not seem like a religion as much as an episode of 'Star Trek'...
Not willing to venture into the world of country music either. Again, just not my type of tunes.

I am seeking a kind, confident and outgoing woman, with a love for laughing, likes a mix of exploring the Lower Mainland, dining out and in and quiet times together. You have to like cats, as I have two on spider patrol 24/7.
