I'm 52 and just getting use to being in my 50's now. Where the heck did all that time go? Did I have fun with it? Gosh, I hope so. It went by so fast. So here I am after feeling like I have already had a full life. Than hearing that it is possible for any of us to live to be 100 more now than ever before. I still have another just under 50 years to go !!! WOW !!! I've learned so much from life so far but I think I was always too busy to have a great deal of fun.I've been greatly enjoying all my ME time, alone but for another 50 years??? Hummmmmmmmm. Yes , I know life is not for having just fun, but I've been there and back around with the busy stuff and its time for me to let my hair down and be the free bird I am.
My 2 kids are grown and on their own with partners of their own. My 2 ex's are on their own with partners of their own. My brother has moved away and yes, now has a partner of his own. That takes care of everybody. What to do now??? Should I look for a new "partner" or enjoy all this free time? Wonder if I could meet someone out there that maybe feels like I do. Happy alone, but still wanting something to enhance time with here and there. More if we really like each other and can stand it. Same interests and hobbies and love for music and movies AND books. Not be so quick in this world now, that a tiny woman who walks with a cane just for aid in balance can't keep up with you. I'm still in good shape and care about my looks and would like to know someone who takes care of himself as well. We are older but we don't have to be falling apart any more than we have too. lol I'm 52 and I still like younger men but not too young now. My oldest child is 30. Can't in my mind go that young. Men my age and spirited are wonderful to know, as well as a few years older, but please be still interested in yourself and life. You guys KNOW what I mean. I will bring spirit and energy to whatever we do together as well even if I walk with a cane. It doesn't stop me from doing things if I still can. So what are YOU up for?????

I feel a great first meeting would be a coffee house / book store/ nothing too fancy. Or somewhere nice to talk over a glass of wine. Just sit and try to enjoy the time. By the end, we should both know if we wanted to do it again. I have many other interest and love a good talk and I do like to get out and about BUT I also love being home and doing things there. I can dress up nice but I wear jeans a lot. And most say, I still look very good in them. I'm glad, I wouldn't really know what else to wear or choose much else. By the way, ..... I do not wear HIGH HEELs ever. Someone evil invented them and I will not ( and cannot) wear them ever again. LOL
