Welcome!

So first of all, I would like to address the serious member thing on my profile, I am not sure why it is there or how I can get rid of it but please do not think that it is a reflection of my intention in being on POF. I am really not that serious of a member, nor am I that serious of a person.

As for me, I would like to think of myself as a pretty cool chick. I am not sure what my profile projects but in life I am very loveable, friendly and social. I am always up for hanging out or coordinating a get-together at the last minute. I am attractive in my smile, humour and approachability. I am someone that people can count on and be themselves around. I have a great job, family and group of friends that I love. I take a lot of initiative in all that I do, so don't be taken aback if I start things off. I live in Orillia, but I spend most weekends in the GTA, visiting friends and family, so I am open to dating with a little bit of distance.

Things I have found on POF:
- most people that I have come across are very nice
- it is not worth it to chat for too long on-line
- if I am interested, I like to meet up for a quick date to see whether we are compatible
- it's always nice to meet someone new, even if we don't go on a second date (no harm, no foul)

What am I looking for?
I will be honest, if you are only into snowmobiling, fishing and motorized vehicles, I'm not your gal. Also, if you care more about your physical attributes, or mine for that matter, then having a meaningful relationship with someone, I am also not who you are looking for.

I like respectful men that are humourous, intelligent, active and enthusiastic. I know 'normal' is not a very politically correct term nowadays, and I am quite PC, but 'normal' is good for me. Are there any of you out there?
