I'm always liberal and open-minded, usually flexible and spontaneous, occasionally lazy and stubborn, and I always admit when I'm wrong. I love a good debate and discussing ideas, preferably late at night. I believe we can still be our own people while in a relationship, but I'm also looking for one person who is special to me and who I am special to. I'm not looking for someone to be the only person in my life, but the most important person (and vice versa). I'm looking to find someone to do lots of things and nothing at all with.

I'm hoping to meet a truly nice guy (and I mean that--I've never been into "bad boys"). Honesty is key with me--I've never been into head games. I always try my best to treat others the way I want to be treated, although I admit I'm not perfect (but at least I'm trying). Communication is also really important to me, so I'll never expect you to read my mind--I'll let you know what I'm thinking and trust you to do the same.

Work-wise, after an insensible career path up to this point, and working a lot of jobs that I didn't enjoy, I'm finally working at two careers that I love to do. They're not everything I am, but I'm thrilled to finally enjoy and feel good about what I do.

I like to go camping, cook and bake, travel (although I haven't done enough of it recently--more travel is definitely in my plans), and get together with friends, watching movies or just hanging out. I enjoy a good bottle of wine, either red or white. I also love card and board games. I'm not yet as fit as I'd like to be, but I'm working on it.

Things that aren't negotiable for me are smoking, drugs, and kids. If you do either of the former, or have the latter, I'm not the person for you.

For now, let's get to know each other...who knows where it could lead. I'd like to find someone for the long term, but dating's a good way to start. Relationships take work, but it's definitely worth it, and I'm willing to put in the time.
