I guess this is deep sea fishing??

Hello, Thanks for stopping to read my profile. I hope you enjoyed the summer weather because fall is on the way! LOL
I'm posting this profile in hope of meeting someone special. I guess that’s what everyone says? I think chemistry (intellectual, physical, and intangible) is the most important factor in developing a lasting relationship and that is what I am looking for in a partner! Someone who can communicate and share their feelings. I try to be understanding and non-judgmental so you can tell me anything. I'm not interested in an endless email romance. So, after a brief introduction period, I will want to meet and see if there is any chemistry.
I work alot and don't get out to the bars that often so I don't meet many new people. I have many interests including cooking, gardening, biking, camping, boating, and home repair. Other things I like are Mexican food, Ice cream, a good cup of coffee, good music, romance, Tivo, and being outdoors. However, I am very open minded and always interested in new experiences. I appreciate and listen to all types of music so I don't really have a favorite type. I'm trying to teach myself how to play guitar. For the musicians out there, any help would be appreciated!
Going out for dinner and drinks is fun, however, I also enjoy staying home and cooking our favorite meal and sharing a bottle of wine. I try to stay in shape and eat healthy however I do have a few weaknesses! I tend to be a giver, not a taker and I strive to live drama free. I'm as real as it gets and I hope you can be too. And I do believe in the old saying... behind every great man is a great woman! So, if you're looking for someone who is honest, compassionate, a good communicator, and easy going this is your lucky day! LOL. I have references upon request. I don't know if I can adequately describe myself in a paragraph but I can honestly say every woman I know is surprised that I am not married! LOL
I am a transplanted Chicagoan and have lived in Central IL for 13 years. I like the fresh air and the fact that there is no traffic!
I would be great to meet someone who lives nearby but that may be a challenge. Distance is an obstacle that can be overcome. How far is too far for the perfect match??
