I'm looking to click with someone with the hopes of possibly something long-term ... my best friend with chemistry you might say. I've never been married, have no kids and am preferably looking for someone in the same boat.

Here's a random list of likes, with an "I don't know about you" to follow: sushi, early morning workouts, discovering new state parks, Blue Rocks games, a warm Irish pub, a welcoming coffeeshop, music (big time), Lost & 24 (except for season 6!) & The Office, nearly every dog I've ever met and a few cats, my job (high school teacher), reading (fiction and nonfiction alike), cookouts and cookins, ...

I don't know about you: A lot of times when I meet someone new I'm puzzled as to who I click with. By all rights, the one I should fall for (a lot in common, drop-dead gorgeous, etc) is NOT the one I find myself drawn to. When the conversation flows and the chemistry is there it is like magic. So it has everything to do with first (and second) impressions and not always with what matches up on a list of prerequisites. So if my likes/dislikes don't exactly match yours, go ahead and drop me a note. At the very least you might get a free cup of coffee, but if the chemistry is there ... you never know ... that's why we're here after all, isn't it?
