I am a single white woman in Alexandria. I have a professional career that is great, but not the main focus of my life. I am respected and creative in my field and always bring levity to situations.

I really miss someone totally knowing me. I know it takes time and patience, but I am really ready. I think I am a good mix of logic and emotion, which tells me that I have learned from past experiences. I have been divorced for almost ten years from a very short-term marriage in my 20’s. I have had a few significant relationships since, but nothing ever “sticks”.

Describe what would you do for a first date.

I had to laugh...this reads as if I am writing for a first date contest. "What would you do for first date?" I would walk on hot coals for a first date...I would eat an earthworm...etc. "Fear Factor First Dates" :)

Really I think first dates are better designed by the chemistry of two people learning about what each other may enjoy. It should always be short and practical for a first meeting.
