OK, no I didn't. Hi, I've been on here around a year and over that time I have met a few great ladies but nothing that lasted unfortunately.

My name's Ken and I'm on here to meet a special someone. While the chances are probably slim that one-of-a-kind-woman will peruse this profile, I figure it's worth a try.

I'm looking for a best friend, a companion, someone to laugh with, have great times with, someone to be there to pick me up when I'm down, someone to cuddle with...

I can cook (but you may not want to eat it), I can clean, I can do laundry and the dishes, and I can even wipe my own butt. I'm not looking for anyone to take over these chores for me. I've been divorced and doing this all on my own for close to ten years now, I think I've got pretty good at it.

I'll let you know now that I'm blue-collar. Think of me as something along the lines of the UPS/FedEx guy but for a different industry. The important thing is I have a good job that pays good money and I get up everyday to go do it. I also have weekends off which brings me to my hobbies.

I have a car that I like to play with, be it cruising, showing, or racing, I like to play with my car. If you don't like car's or have no interest in doing this with me from time to time, we aren't a match. I want someone that will go with me to events, ride with me at races that allow it, someone to enjoy it WITH me. It's not something I spend every weekend doing but it is a part of me, it needs to be or become a part of you.

My other hobby, although I don't do it near as much as I used to, I still would like to get up into the mountains from time to time to hike or backpack. This should be something you would enjoy doing also. If you can't stand the woods or can think of a million other things you'd rather do than walk down a trail or sleep in a tent, you'r not the one. This may be something we only do a couple times a year but again, I want you to do it WITH me and enjoy it. Tent sex is not fun by yourself (lol)

And that's it, my two interests/hobbies. What do I like to do the rest of the time you ask? ANYTHING YOU WANT. It's totally up to you. What I do is no where near as important as who I'm doing it with. Drag me to the mall, take me to a museum, let's go to a play or a musical, I really don't care. I'm easily pleased and if I'm into you, I'll be into whatever we're doing.

Let's see what else can I tell you about me?

I like live sporting events, I prefer college and semi-pro to pro. I'm not a UT fan but I'll root for them if I need to. I'm NOT a sports junkie, I don't watch ESPN, about the only thing I will watch on t.v. that's sports related is some college football, the Super Bowl, and maybe some of the World Series. I do not watch NASCAR. I don't like country music. I don't dance, maybe a slow dance if the time/place calls for it, but I'm not your disco boogie buddy. I do enjoy going to a nice bar/restaurant to enjoy a few drinks and good conversation. I can play some pool and you'll probably beat me, but I will destroy you in darts (lol) I like to watch live bands play. Sometimes I just like to sit at home and relax with a movie. I love weekend getaways.

One last note, I'm not looking for chat buddies, email friends or any of that stuff. I want to MEET someone. If what I've said here has you interested and my pics don't have you running for the toilet then send me a message. And if I like what I see and read about you, I'll let you know and let's meet. I don't want to chat back and forth for months, then finally meet you and find out we don't match in person. I've been there and done that. And if you're too busy to reply to my message for weeks, you're too busy to date me.

Dinner somewhere that has outside seating if the weather is nice, I like that for some reason...or maybe a hike/picnic somewhere in the Smokies, the drive there and back is half the fun. How about a Smokies game? A trip to the zoo? I'm pretty laid back and easily pleased, up for most anything.
