Who can say what love really is
how do you define such a word
is love just a way that we choose to live
why is the symbol of love a bird
does love mean that you are free
or is it chemistry in the brain
does love define who your meant to be
why does it hit you like a train
is love just infatuation
or does it come from trust and respect
love is full of complication
you never know what your gonna get
does love grow over time
or does it start immediately
should love always have reason and rhyme
or should love be able to live freely
some say love is a matter of the heart
how do they really know
where love always finds its start
and how it tends to grow
a heart is just a muscle
it flows with deep blue blood
a heart is just a vessel
that controls a flood
some say love starts in the brain
that makes much more sense
when it pours on us like rain
we feel like our soul is being rinsed
so if this is the case
why do we long for love
if our brain is the base
then why, how, and when will it come
love is unpredictable
it shows up when least expected
love is like an addiction
it keeps your mind erected
I long for love like others
I want to feel it strong
it keeps my mind in wonder
of where it really comes from

If you let video games rule your life, drink like a fish out of water, feel that a human is something that can be owned, you can't hold a deep and meaningful conversation, you are old enough to be my father or grandpa (38 and up), have enough children to start your own army, live with your mother and are still using your tennis shoes as a form of transportation, don't like children, think that farting and burping is the humour of life, lying comes to you naturally, feel that men are superior to women and we are a punching bag, argue over stupid stuff like spam or who has the better body, you can't speak English, use lines such as " I am going away to war and very lonely, please come over and cuddle me before I go" and you don't have to leave for another month or "Baby, I know you must be tired because you've been running through my mind all day", or all you are looking for is a peice of booty, then please move on because you are wasting your time. I would prefer dinner and then dancing, but the perfect date would be to enjoy an evening of horseback riding on the beach and then a picknick under the stars.
