Where should I start? How about with reality?

If you ever wanted to know someone that comes from a mixed background, you have come to the right place. I am Native American, German, Irish, and some other gypsy background that my family refuses to recognize.

I am a middle aged man with my only child in college and doing very nicely. I am an "empty nester" for a larger part of the year, which has changed my focus and life from him to much more what I want to do.

Life has been good to me in many ways, and I revel in the adventures, experiences, opportunities, and results of what I have worked so hard to accomplish as I continue to grow and mature.

I am independent, self sufficient, financially secure, and considered athletic. I seek to find someone that is similar to me and my desires, as I try to be to theirs. Looks will get my attention, and brains will keep me close to you. I believe that I offer what I am looking for and I prefer not to settle for less.

I appreciate all of you that take the time to contact me and would like to know me better, but please help me out here if you would.

I would prefer to meet and date another that fits in the BMI tables on a similar scale to what I am. This for me means under 25, which I am at and would enjoy the one I am getting to know to be somewhere in that mix as well. If you do not know what I am talking about, please take the time to research it some in order for the both of us to be on the same page when meeting.

I am but a man that is average in height, weight, and condition. I ask no more, nor accept no less.

There are pictures of me on my profile that are current, and I would enjoy that you share yours as well. And yes, I am a Harley Rider, but it is just another activity in my life, and not my whole life. Hiking, diving, riding bikes, and many other outdoor activities are as much a part of my life as my Harley is, along with doing all those things that an educated, hopefully sophisticated man does that includes movies, theater, shopping, and being politically active with those things that move me.

I have been on POF for a long time, and have many friends that I banter with in the forums. I am mostly here for that connection, and I am not desperate to be with another, just prefer to share my adventures rather than experiencing them alone.

If you decide to add me to your favorites list, that is wonderful, but please share your picture as you do or email it to me saying hello and may I add you, and please add me. I do a cleaning of my profile every month and will delete those that do not have a picture, or do not at least say hello to me as a favorite. It is nothing personal, but rather just a courtesy for those that have me as a friend, and those I have on my list.

By the way.....POF has decided that I am an "INTJ" personality for whatever that could mean to you and your search. I am also more mature than I look, and happy to share that with you when we meet and share both of our backgrounds. I have no illusions about my age, but prefer to not be eliminated by criteria before you even know me, or have met me.

I prefer to meet for coffee or a drink and just get to know each other; or a ride together and just enjoy the outdoors. We both will need the time to look over each other and break down whatever facades that may exist and see if we have any true connection, understanding, spiritualism and attraction to each other.
