Does anyone actually meet people on here???????? I know that I have been on here for quite awhile. Hence the headline "Persistently Optimistic".

Hi.This is the hard part.....hmnn...? I am looking to meet a nice guy to share some moments with, to hang out with and to do things with. I have great friends but would enjoy other special times with that someone special. All of my friends are married. I don't mind being by myself but it has a tendency to be overrated and BORING! I enjoy "quirky" movies,(my favourite movie is Scarface, also Across the Universe)creating art, and gardening. I have two wonderful children. A 13 year old son, and a 10 year old daughter. I do get time to myself when they spend every other weekend at their dad's. So I am not looking for a "dad" for my kids. They have one. I am looking for someone to compliment my life.
I would enjoy the company of a man who would like to go to the theatre or musicals (I know, that is asking alot!) once and awhile. Hell, even an art gallery.(Okay, I am scaring you with the "musicals" and art gallery thing, lol!, not a neccessity,just a wish) Concerts are good too. I love music. Daytripping, or a weekend away. Going for wings and beers too. I would also enjoy a man who could get silly once and awhile and just let loose and relax and really enjoy himself. I don't mind if you have children but would prefer them over the age of 8. I did the young kid thing once.

Yes, I am looking for a relationship but am aware that it takes time.

I would enjoy going for a walk along the beach or just talking over a frosty beer in a quiet pub. Not really into the "extreme sport" type date. ie., rock climbing, etc.
