Who do I want to meet? Someone who loves life and learning; someone who has a positive outlook and appreciation for life. Someone with true confidence, compassion, generosity of spirit (don't know how else to describe it but I know it when I see it), sense of humor (of course), and adventurous.

There's a line from a Jimmy Buffett song that has always jumped out at me: "There's just too much to see waiting in front of me, and I know that I just can't go wrong." Whenever I hear that line, it strikes a chord. Every day, I feel lucky to be alive and I want to know more about our world and all the wondrous things it has to offer. I try to learn and experience as much as I can through touristy (often goofy) outings, evening classes, food festivals and new restaurants, wine tastings, art and performances of all kinds, late night conversations, and firsthand adventures.

Favorite activities for a first date...hmm. I'm super easy going, so I'm usually up for anything! I think I tend to do mostly dinner on first dates, but it would be fun to do something active, like a bike ride or wine tasting.
