About Me
Where to start? I can be difficult to explain at the best of times. At 6'1" and a (well carried) ~300lbs I stick out of most crowds easily. Add to that the red hair (usually shaved clean to beat the receding hairline) and the Goatee (Technically it's a Van Dyke, but most folks will get what I mean) usually makes for a potentially intimidating picture. A picture not entirely accurate, I may look intimidating to some, but I've apparently got a good streak in me :)I have a lot (perhaps too much) of time logged into various courses, from a BA in English and Japanese studies to courses in computers and electronics that run the gamut. That would bring me to where I am now, in my Electronics Technician course via NSCC, great school, highly recommend it.Likes and dislikes...let's see. I like a good: meal, conversation/debate, movie, book, drive, and other things too numerous to mention. As far as dislikes go: There are few things that would be 'deal breakers' but hard drug use would be one of them. What am I looking to get out of here? Depending on who I meet, and how well we hit things off could lead to anything from friendships to dating and beyond.

** Update **

Done school now and working full time days. And almost in my field, bonus :)

First Date
First dates...again varies by the person and tastes. Coffee and conversation are usually a good "we-met-online" icebreaker and leaves both people feeling fairly comfortable. The traditional Dinner and a movie work, but doesn't leave a lot of room to talk (but I love a good movie, any excuse to see one :) ) Or something spontaneous and different: Mini-golf, one of the pottery painting places, etc...

But it all depends on who, when and where.
Testimonials/comments from Thatguy0001 favorites list
I used to date Thatguy, and I can tell you he's a big sweetie. He's very intelligent and kind hearted and fun to be around! He's very laid back and quiet but has a wry sense of humour and is up for almost anything. He is kind of quirky, geeky, attractive, aloof, affectionate...pretty much a great mix! Our first meeting was at a coffee shop and we didn't date until months later, but he was and is a good friend who will listen. He's a very physically driven person, but for a lot of people, this can be a good thing! I would say that he is worth messaging. He deserves happiness. :)
