I am superman!

Let’s look at this objectively. Superman has an altar ego, Clark Kent. Old Clark wears glasses, isn't’ to smooth, kind of dorky, and easily over looked. Just like me. Now superman always looks good but when? I’ll tell you, when he is saving someone’s butt. Believe me I look pretty fantastic when the drain to the only bathtub in your house finally goes whoosh do to my super strength / knowledge.

Superman is an alien. The more I deal with society the more I am sure I wasn't’ born on this planet either. Superman has lots of unique powers, just like me). Even with super strength, heat vision, invulnerability, cold breath (not like me) he usually relies on his smarts to get him through the day, yep just like me. Superman will save any one that’s good of heart sometimes a few that aren’t but would stop the world for that one girl (me too).

My powers are poetry, intellect, empathy, compassion, and communication. My kryptonite is insecurity. Who is my Anti-kryptonite? Hey a Jimmy Olsen, Wonder Women, or even Lex Luther (once in a while) to chat with would be cool too.

Okay maybe satire will work. Trying to be cool had its results but just takes too much work, worrying what to wear, what to say, how to act. The key word is act. I have been single for 7 years, reality has shown most will look at the picture and not even read this. Those who are not so vain tend to pick apart what’s left. It equally surprises me how many people go after me after they hear about my bike yet as many reject me when read I own one. What is the solution? If you list all your wants and desires some one attach them selves to the one thing they like or like wise reject you because of something you do or don’t list. Worse than anything the profile looks like 10000 others then it falls back to the picture.

How can some one actually resemble a second in time? Life is in ones eyes, the sparkle, the goodness, the evil, and malice it is all there.. Sure biology, chemistry, and proximity play a major part in a relationship but a friendship knows no bounds. I can list my accomplishments but in reality they mean nothing to what I do tomorrow.

My resume is endless and I will try just about anything (except roller blades/ skis believe me I’ve tried and I just don’t bounce back now a days like I used to). I can be anything to anybody. I do all this out of a natural curiosity and a courtesy to the person I am with, not just to impress them but to learn from them. God provides for me. Being a Gemini I strive for balance. The poet in me sees things most miss. The kid in me will play any game. The adult in me keeps me responsible. I can chat with just about anyone that’s open minded. Whats with unanswered ice breakers? If you can't be honest enough to answer a compliment in this forum how can one hope to ever communicate with reality? A "thanks but no thanks" won't break my heart and a "gee lets talk" won't make me stalk you. I hope for the same. I find a well written profile very beautiful and vanity rather ugly so if you get an ice breaker from me its not just an invitation to communicate its an compliment to your written word and /or smile. I am just an observer here but if your interested give me directions and we can explore other options for communication. I like my space and meeting people there. After all isn’t that why we are all here, to be able to communicate with someone and to be able to share thoughts, goals, and desires because if you can’t find that anything else is futile. okee if you want the 20 questions just ask - i like to chat. If you want to meet me - we need to do something! Coffee is like a job interview. One side wants the qualifications while the other wants to know if the pay rate is worth the effort.

Rockford has bright spots but I realise most of them are the parks. So if it's winter lets find a good band (or one we can laugh at), a quiet place with a dart board, the art museum, a mall walk, even tackle that plumbing problem that's plagued you. Conversations are grand and the net makes them very easy so ask away


PS A lot of these profiles say they don't want some one that is out for only "one thing" well I am out for that thing! Brownies! so be able to bake, know a good granny, or have the local bakery on speed dial
