It seems like everything I want to say sounds so cliché, but here it goes. I am a true people person and find conversation to come pretty easily which I find to be a lucky attribute. I value good friends and think it says a lot about a person if he/she has maintained childhood friendships. I am not the type of person who needs to go out all the time. Dinner in and just relaxing at home is fine with me. I am sensitive and hope to find someone who doesn't act like they are made of Teflon, there is nothing wrong with showing emotion. I do not like to be around people who think that they are better than others and have something to prove to the world. I just would like to meet someone who is real and accepting of others, enjoys trying new things and is honest, sincere and keeps their word. And lastly, but importantly, the person I would like to meet must love dogs since I adore them and hope to have one of my own someday soon!

I think a first date should be comfortable. I think meeting some place that isn't too fancy is a good start. Everyone loves a good pair of jeans and so why not be relaxed and comfy in an otherwise nerve wracking situation? Meeting at a place that is not too loud so that an actual conversation can take place is a must. Maybe choose a place where you can do an activity so that if things feel awkward you have something to focus on, i.e. a winery, mini-golf, paint your own pottery, whatever.
