Well here goes...
I'm not sure how I can best describe myself without sounding cute and cheesy but here goes. My friends would probably describe me as easy-going, ambitious, loyal, adventurous, and easy to bribe. Five years ago, I left a job I didn't enjoy and no longer found challenging and decided to go back to school. Now I'm less than a year from graduating and curently working in Ontario though I will be back in Winnipeg by the end of Dec. to finish my education and graduate. I'm doing something I thoroughly enjoy and look forward to a career as a microbiologist, something I never saw myself pursuing. To top it all off, I've also started taking acting classes for fun and I've been having a blast.

I'm not afraid to meet new people but I am the type of guy who's a little shy at first but once I get to know people, I warm up fairly quickly and emerge from my shell. I don't like going to the bars and instead prefer to hang out with my friends at pubs, lounges, and comedy clubs. Places where we can all enjoy the conversation and not have to yell to be heard.

My family's played an important role in my life, especially two of my sisters who have been very supportive in my decision to go back to school. There's probably a lot more I can tell you about me but I'd like to save that for another time.

When the weather calls for a nice sunny day I always like going to an outdoor patio where good food, cold drinks (doesn't have to be the alcoholic variety), and a good conversation can be enjoyed. Winter can be tougher to find somethig to do but I've always wanted to find someone who wants to go cross-country skiing or even try curling. Staying indoors with a nice cup of hot chocolate is always nice too.
