I enjoy being outdoors and sharing in activities that require physical exertion. Floating the river when the water is flowing relaxes the mind and body. Curled up with a good book or movie when indoors can be exhilarating. I also enjoy throwing darts and shooting pool though not the best at it. People tell me that I am easy to talk to and they like the fact that I listen. I love children and pets, have a special admiration for moms who have raised their children without a mate. Families are what keeps us balanced and reassured. Laughter makes the day to day journey pleasant and stimulates our desire to participate in it. Laughing at ones self can also be healing. My favorite group is Collective Soul and their style of music. I resigned from religion about 16 years ago but have become more spiritual in my beliefs knowing that we each have a unique connection with divinity.

Talk, listen, talk some more. Have a cup of coffee, sit on a shady patio (with this heat) or in the a/c and discover what topics are of importance to you. Possibly visit a museum, like the Witte or the McNay. The date should be coordinated to whatever the weather is outside. I love movies, just not a good chance to get to know someone. We all have stories about our life that has formed our belief system, and some of that is important, yet living in the NOW has benefited my attitude and made me happier. Longtime goal is to travel and see places and learn all I can about people. Our planet is unique and offers much wisdom, like a loving touch, you just can't get enough!
