Some things about me:

Intelligent and intellectual, but funny and sarcastic.

Employed & career driven, but I place a high priority on personal life/friends/family.

Can dress up nice for work, etc., but prefer casual - i.e. jeans, t-shirt & tats.

Chosen a career that is more focused on mind than body, but I'm almost equally satisfied with working with my hands (read: I have tools and I know how to use them).

Currently I go to the gym 5 days a week, but I'm definitely appreciative of more relaxing endeavours.

Kind, friendly and outgoing, especially with people I know, but reserved at times, especially with people I don't know. I place a high value on friendships and am therefore selective, I gravitate toward certain people and vise versa.

Stubborn at times when I believe something strongly, but extremely open-minded and able to see things from all sides.

Wide range of interests, although very specific in some instances because I'm passionate about the things I love.

Huge music lover, I play five instruments and sing. Guitar is my favourite, so it heavily influences my listening habits. Love going to live shows, it's high on my agenda right now.

Huge movie buff, I never find enough time to watch all the ones I want.

Big computer geek. I work in IT and still find my PC interesting when I get home, assuming I have the time.


What I am looking for:

Someone who doesn't necessarily share any of my interests, but appreciates and accepts them, and vise versa.

Someone who I can connect with on an intellectual level, who can appreciate good conversation and spark thoughtful debate. Someone who can teach me new things and new ways of looking at things.

Someone who is honest, above all to themselves.

Someone who I can be there for and whom I can count on in return, even if it's just to hear a friendly voice. I'm extremely loyal, I don't like flaky people.

Someone with whom I can share both a physical and mental attraction, but whom I can be friends with first and foremost. With the right person, I am open to a more long-term relationship down the road.

Coffee or drinks is always a nice place to start. This really isn't a brain-buster, I'm sure we can figure something out.
