Hi,

I grew up on the East Coast but have been out in the Seattle area over 25 years. I did social work for 20 years.Three years ago I did a career change and am now a special-education teacher.

I think I'm pretty down to earth. I like to be around people who appreciate humor (my tends to be pretty dry) and realness. In friendships/relationships - I feel like I'm honest and I try to share where I'm at.
Things I like to do like movies, walks, working out, dancing, and traveling. I also like spending some time with my 24 y/o daughter and 16 y/o son.

I want to start out as friends. Eventually, I'd like to find a long-term relationship.
I'd like to meet a woman who is sweet, intelligent, down to earth, fun, and easy to talk with.

Beyound a basic attraction, I'm not obsessed with someones outward appearance. Looks can grow or fade on you - depending on what the person is like on the inside (Their heart & personality).

My picture is 3 years old - I'm not a picture taker. I will try to get an "exciting" school staff picture up soon...:)
