It would be great to meet a woman with a positive attitude and is at least fairly attractive and is not excessively chubby. I'd like to meet someone who I am intellectually, emotionally and of course sexually attracted to.
The current features of my life right now are my grown children. However, I would like to start having some personal satisfaction and enjoyment, and start sharing my life with another on a more intimate level.
I enjoy quality time with good people who are not consumed with pretentious needs. Long term relationships have to begin somewhere so all I am looking for now is to meet and date a woman and see where that goes. Ultimately I'd like to settle down with someone who appreciates and enjoys each other's company, the mutual companionship, to understand and support each other's happy and sad times, and to enjoy each other's worlds. I am not too fond of hanging out in single bars, so I'm on this site.
I am rebuilding two homes in New Orleans at this point. I traded my Explorer in for a Corolla as my resources go into the rebuilds right now. I also have a third house in N.O. East that was flooded, but that one is in long term storage.

First Date
A first date could be a simple meeting at a coffee shop, daiquiri shop, restaurant, park, or anywhere where both would feel comfortable and relaxed. It would be nice to talk and get to learn more about one another. If all goes well I'd imagine that our natural selves would then take over and we'd decide where to go, do, etc. At the same time each should be allowed to simply walk away at the end if it becomes obvious that there's no mutual interest.
