I'm a UC philosophy professor (I do ethics and political philosophy) and a regular, well-travelled surfer (recent trips include: South Africa, Indonesia, Mexico. Just back from Poland (for a conference), Portugal (surf was just OK), and Spain (loved Barcelona!). Went to Harvard for the Ph.D., but happy to be back to the warm, good and easy So Cal life.
