I'm an attractive, self-sufficient, honest(sometimes to a fault)lady with a keen sense of humor. Friends and family are important to me and I enjoy doing little things to make them happy.
I love animals. I currently have 1 dog that I adopted from the pound, she's 1/4 Lab 1/4 Border Collie 1/4 Angel and 1/4 Demon. The rest of the family consists of 1 cat, an Orange Winged Amazon Parrot named "Gizmo" and living in a 55 Gallon aquarium are my Blood Parrot Cichlids.
I'd like to meet someone who has a wicked sense of humor and knows how to treat a lady. Someone who still knows how to open a door, pull out a chair & say "NO WAY" if I offer to pay half the bill (At least on the 1st 5 dates).
I want to meet someone that I really geniunely like as a person.
I'd love to have my eyes light up & feel those flutterings in my stomach (not heartburn or indigestion) at the sight or thought of that special someone. I'd also like that "someone special" to have those same feeling for me. I'm not looking for Mr. Wonderful or Mr. Geriatric G.Q. but I would like to feel a little "spark" of physical attraction.

I think the first date should be for coffee, Lunch or a glass of wine. Dinner is much too stressful on the first meeting. That way if there is no connection you can both make a quick get-a-way. Not much time or money lost and you might at least have somewhat interesting conversation, if not, it just might help in determining what you're not looking for.
