About Me
Well, herm....I'm kind of a nerd, i collect comics and love trivia and stuff like that. I like being active and debating. A good conversation is key. I like getting lost in people. I dig creativity, I like when originality comes through and is not broadcast, I like having moments. I suck at spelling and grammar is over rated. I love new music and culture. I like listening to conversations between strangers. Some people play music, some are great athletes, some people are very smart. I'm not much of anything but alot of somethings, although I taught myself to juggle. I like spending my time off doing what some people may call foolish, stuff like climbing trees, or hoping over creeks. I go out and dance, cut loose, typical mid twenty something lifestyle I guess. Music is a huge part of my life, both at work and at home. I'm that guy walking down the street dancing to what other people can't hear but if they could hear most likely it'd be reggae, sounds pretentious but underground hip hop like MF Doom, folk, drum n bass, jazz, ska or whatever happens to be on. Enjoying Tom Waits lots these days. Sorta non descript but hopefully paints an interesting picture. I like questions...and open endings. I'm working on becoming a more socially and environmentally conscionable person but like lots of things in life, it's a work in progress.
I don't believe living life in a linear fashion. I guess that sounds a little vague....what I mean is that I don't believe in living with time limits in mind. Relationships, beit friendship or romantic or simply whatever, can last as long or as short as they need to. It's possible to fall in love for one night and have it last exactly that long and the sentiment is just as legit whether not it lasted one night or one lifetime. It's possible to meet your best friend and only have one moment but as long as it was an honest shared experience, time plays a little factor. I think we place to much emphasis on what comes next in western philosophy. I say except now for what it is, worry about tomorrow but not at the cost of today and cherish the past but don't long for it.
Wish I could say my career is not important and that I just want to roll with it, that'd be a lie. I think balance is key and I'm quite happy with where and what I'm doing these days. I suppose I'm looking for someone who's driven when it counts, but when its time for fun can seriously cut loose. I guess I put on my shirt and tie at work but get my Kerouac on when it's possible
