First of all, thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I'm an educator and consultant. I love my job - teaching, research, and lecture tours in many countries. Like you I am independent, financially secure, honest, down to earth, open-minded, sensuous, humorous, spontaneous, talkative, generous, etc. I enjoy cooking; yes, my dishes are edible. If you can bake a Viennese Sachertorte then I'll make the mélange and bring the slivovitz. I crave for good chocolates and cheesecakes from all over the world. It will be a plus if you do too.

I am a pretty active person. I love to travel. I go to Africa, Asia, Middle East, Europe, Oceania and South America for business as well as pleasure. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life in various countries. I get totally immersed in natural beauties like watching sunrise in the Himalayas, sunsets in Africa, playful whales in Tahiti and Hawaii, walking on rope bridges in Ghanaian rain forest, donkey ride up 850 steps in Petra, etc. I also enjoy looking at the manmade worlds of Tajmahal and the Great Walls, temples and relics in India, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam and Japan, glass museums in Russia and Finland, castles and churches all over Europe, Bosphorus in Turkey, etc. etc. I get involved in developmental program in a few countries for international organizations. I would like to do more of these things. I also want to take part in some of your interests if they are different from mine, and to extend our circle of friends.

I am widowed. My daughters are grown up. I have an empty nest to share. Let us see if we have enough things in common to be friends to start with. Ciao ciao.
