I'm 31, ready to have some fun with new friends. I love going out for some pool, karaoke, coffee and a crossword puzzle, movies...all the normal stuff. I am committed to living in the Lansing area because of the school my kids are in, but I would love to know people from all over! I am a Christian, I'm at church more than weekly as I'm currently lead on the worship team, have a tuesday morning moms group, and started BSF this year. I'm also on the board of administration and I just took over our church website. I have both my kids in school this year...the first time I've been kidless during the day in 7 years, I think I might be close to stretching myself a bit thin lol
Since it gets asked a lot, I am not chinese. I used to have some chinese in me, but we got divorced. (ba dum bum)
Here's a few tidbits:
The smell of freshly cut grass instantly lowers my blood pressure
scratching my back during an argument almost guarentees you'll win
i LOVE animals, especially cuddly animals
The smell of whiskey makes me want to ralph
I like a little coffee in my cream and sugar
I like sushi if it's cooked
I've been accused of being a pancake tease
I can tie a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue
I'm a cheap drunk
I love thunderstorms
Novelty/comedy music is my bag baby!
I have 6 pairs of shoes. total.
I was a cheerleader in middle school
I like it when you know stuff I don't
I hate arguing, but I LOVE being right
I went to band camp
The only vegetable I don't like is brussel sprouts (yes even on holidays)
When I'm stressed or angry, it comes out in the form of really freaky dreams
I have one phobia
I am not 420 friendly
TMI is virtually nonexistant for me. I've seen gross stuff that would make you sick, but it's just every day to me!
I am shy (can't you tell?)
I startle easily, but still love suspense/thriller movies
I took gourmet cooking in college
I watch JAWS every time I catch it on TV
I'm learning to speak Chinese
I try hard to treat everyone with the same kindness I want, regardless of physical, mental, age differences
I'm VERY close with my ex's parents, siblings and extended family. My ex mother in law and I go out every friday night. Yes I know it's unusual, no I don't care.

Ok, I do have a few requests when it comes to guys. It may seem simple, but hey, it's my freakin page.
1. Please know how to use punctuation, spell check and whole words. I'm all for acronyms...but not the whole dang message. kwim? ;)
2. ALL CAPS SUCK.
3. If you have a pic of you on your page where you're flipping the bird...flip on by:) Unless you really want to see me roll my eyes hehe
4. Don't like other peoples kids? Keep on keepin' on.
5. Must be willing to go to redneck dives with me. My parents are thrilled I use 13 years of vocal training for karaoke.
6. Have at least one pic of you with an actual smile on your face. I'm not looking for a hard ass who never smiles because it isn't cool.
7. Know how to treat everyone, not just a woman, with dignity and respect.
8. Once in awhile I get shy, wanna chat? message me! You can never have to many friends, even if it doesn't work out in other ways :)
