I was raised "Old South", and I'm very proud of that fact. I AM the old fashioned Southern Gentleman you've heard about, but didn't believe still existed. Politically, I'm conservative, and it's not unusual for me to “take it to the streets”, opposite left-wingers, toe-to-toe. I enjoy listening to and creating music, having a wide range of musical tastes. Although, I don't consider hip-hop and rap to be musical genres; thus, not worthy of being considered music. I literally grew up in a professional photographic studio, and now enjoy just taking photographs for my own pleasure. The beauty of scenic Arkansas is incredible, and I feel as though I haven't even scratched the surface of finding new places to photograph, and would enjoy having the company of someone special to help me find new places.

Also, I'm an insurance expert and electronics guru, spending many hours each week on both areas of work. Additionally, I'm an author, developer and webmaster for a faith-based stop smoking website that has reached out to people in over 80 countries world-wide, and is still going strong after over 10 years. I'm not a big fan of fast food, and prefer (when I have time) to prepare home-cooked, Southern meals...I like simple recipes that are tasty, and remind me of the food I grew up eating. I keep a regular and varied exercise routine going during the week, but slack off on the weekends for a reward. I guess you could say I stay very busy, but not busy enough to not realize I'm missing female company and perspective (doesn't mean I'll always agree), which is why I'm on POF.

As you might notice, I've hosted a few local POF parties, and have done so in an effort to get out of the house (I work from home in my primary job), to meet new people and make new friends. Also, it's always easier to go somewhere when you're not alone, and I've never been to a POF function where everyone doesn't look out for everyone else. I've met a wide-range of POF members, but I guess I just haven't yet met that special one. It must be human nature that I continue to look, as there have been times when I've been ready to quit. However, I haven't quit so far, and I'm still looking...are you out there?

My ideal match will need to have patience and a good sense of humor.
