About Me
I'm not completely sure why I'm doing this, I'm not really looking for anyone. I hate doing these things, they're like job interviews where you have to blow your own horn, but here goes.
I'm a fairly quiet guy. I'm a listener. All my life people (even total strangers o_O)have come to me to vent, or seeking advice, or whatever, and I'm always there.
I've had very few romances in my life, which is odd since I'm a complete romantic. It's probably because I'm rather shy (in person, anyway), and slow to take "the next step."
I'm thoughtful and honest. I have a very analytical mind, sometimes too much so. I analyze and think about everything a thousand times before doing anything. I'm generous and loyal to my friends. I'm a man of strong feelings, but I don't let them run away with me.
I'm a singer, and I'm a professional actor. I love all styles of music. I've sung Rock & Roll and I've sung Opera. I must admit, I'm not much of a dancer, though.
I love art and history. I love fashion, though I'm too poor to indulge as I'd like. I play hockey, and I enjoy the occasional video game. We have to keep our inner child alive and well or we grow old.
I love film, and studied it at University. Classics like Casablanca and Cromwell are particlar favorites, but I'm very open minded.
I love theatre, especially Shakespeare. I keep meaning to get season tickets to Stratford so I can dress to the nines, and enjoy some shows. I also mean to visit some of the other theatres nearby, like Drayton or St. Jacobs. It's just so hard to find the time.
I have a dry sense of humour (I call it "wit") that takes some getting used to (or so I'm told!).
I love to eat (and I pay for it more as I get older...), and make darn good spaghetti, if I do say so myself. I love curry and Thai food. Only had sushi once before, but I aim to try it again sometime.
Not sure what else to put. It'll be in a state of constant evolution...
**BTW, don't be offended if I don't get back to you right away, even if I've read your messages; I'm just a busy guy!**
First Date
Really, it depends on the individual. For a first date, going somewhere romantic, but relatively neutral is usually a good idea. It should be something that's fun, and that lets us get to know each other a bit, like going to a museum or the zoo or something.
Movies and Theatre and so on is for later dates, because there's less talking that can be done (so it's harder to get to know each other).
