Happy Days,
Gentleman here, settled in after moving to the Seattle area in Nov. 2006. As I still haven't found the right THING, I continue to make due with the "classics." I'm currently slogging through Ben-Hur, and...well, let's just say it's a poor substitute for Cosmicanic Loveydoozy Wocka-wocka-wocka. I have no idea what that last sentence means.
Trivial Details:
I...work for a tech. firm, play banjo in a rebellious acoustic duo (see M Y Sp ace link above) and am handy with a chainsaw. Small cottage on the Sound (Vashon, home for now). Full-size saw-dusty pickup with manual transmission (hay and logs and guitars and seagull sh*t). Good blood pressure, cholesterol levels. Air and vitamins. Netflix, syntax, kayax. Chocolate. The Drudge Report. Mobil 1. Old books in musty old jackets...
Just fishing for the right lady to hang with, potential for the Big One if the vibe is right. Might that be you? You read, you're available. You HAVE A JOB. You don't have drug or bankruptcy or jealous-ex issues. You're a good person and you're good company and you'd like to be orgasmed most every day. AHEM!
Whew!
Ralph Stanley, Peter Tosh, Lauryn Hill, Duke Reid, Sonny Boy Williamson, Fela Kuti, Bob Zimmerman, The Marshall Tucker Band, to name a few...that's where I live. And yes--I TOTALLY dig the theme song to The Waltons (it's the trumpet...can you hear it?).
Thanks for looking.
First Date
No duct tape on a first date! Seriously...Come over to the island, perhaps? No strings attached. Tea at sunset, adult music framing an adult conversation, the sounds of the Sound bidding farewell to the day. Or maybe that would be the second date...? D-town Seattle is convenient for a beverage.
